Chapter 3: Telescopes
In this chapter we learn about how telescopes work, the different types of telescopes, about and the largest telescopes in the world today. We also learn about space-based telescopes and future projects.

Chapter 5: Venus & Mars
In this chapter we compare and contrast our two neighbor planets. One is very much like Earth on a large scale (diameter, mass, etc...) while the other is very similar to Earth on the surface. We also discuss the spacecraft that have visited both - especially the ever-popular Mars!

Chapter 7: Solar System DebrisIn this Chapter we study the smaller celestial bodies of the Solar System - asteroids, comets, and meteoroids. Students get to examine actual meteorites and the aerogel used to capture comet particles. We also have a fun "dry ice" day to study comets. Each group gets their own piece of dry ice in a bowl of water to demonstrate the jets that sublimate from real comets as they approach the Sun.
